A very special way to explore the island is by horse-riding
; mountains, the ocean, valley’s, caves, vineyards
etc, you get to see it all.
We want to give each rider
an individual service, therefore our groups don’t
have more than 4 to 10 riders. Depending on the
different levels of the riders we can split up the
groups to beginners and
advanced. We are happy to
take children from 8 years old or a min. height of
1.40m.
All our horses are in
excellent condition and we have animals to suit riders of any level.
Here we
will give some descriptions of the tours we offer,
the first 2 are great for absolute beginners or
riders who haven’t ridden for a while. Our scouts
will give some tuition in the different paces such
as the walk and trot. Cantering or galloping is only
allowed for experienced horsemen.

The goat path
|

hour regular riding out, very suitable for beginners
and less experienced riders.
|
|
|
This tour follows the old traditional goat paths and gives you an
excellent idea of the typical landscape in the south
of the island. We ride past the valley of “Las
Lajas” and enjoy an amazing view of the neighboring
island Gran Canaria and the south coast
of Tenerife.

| The 3 volcanoes |

hour tour in the “Barranco del Callao”; a nice
tour for beginners and less experienced riders |

| This tour passes a few goat farms and takes us into the national park of
“Montañas de Ifara” en “Los Riscos”. During
this ride you get a wonderful view on the 3 volcanoes
(Ifara, Los Riscos and Montaña Roja) which lead in
a diagonal line downwards to the ocean. We will take
a break at a typical tapas bar for a drink, before
we finish the tour.

hour tour through the “Barranco de Las Lajas”
and the volcano Los Riscos. It’s actually an
extended version of the tour described above. |

| La Mareta |

| We follow the valley of El Rio which takes us to the small village of La
Mareta and the beach of El Rio. This tour offers
something for everyone : great landscapes, amazing
views and the best paths for a good canter.

| Montaña Colorada |
| This
route is very arduous for the horses, we start at
350metres (1150ft) and ride up to 1300m (4270ft). |
|
| We ride through the villages of Los Blanquitos, La Higuera and Las
Vegas, where we take a break and have something to
eat.. The horses can drink from the many old aqueducts
that are still used by the farmers! A very
different tour of 5 hours riding.

| Full Moon |
| Riding by full moon…obviously only possible by full moon, mail us to
find out when.

a race; we like to take our time to enjoy,
see and inform. |

you wear comfortable clothes (trousers) and shoes (preferably
