Tenerife

There
are many walking guides available for the island
allowing you to follow your own nose, or
alternatively you can join one of our professional
walking guides. This offers many advantages as you
tap into a wealth of local knowledge, shown the best
the island can offer, gaining a more personal
insight to the inhabitants and history, all while in
safe and secure hands, leaving you only to absorb
and enjoy the beauty around you. Our groups are no bigger the 10 people in order to
give you a personal touch and maintain the
tranquillity and space so much apart of this
experience. We highly recommend that you bring
good walking specific shoes, this will aid your
confidence and comfort as the terrain can vary from
country lane, grass, to sand and rock strewn path.

| Anaga, known as the islands ‘walking paradise’
is an area of significant ecological importance
containing extraordinary bio-diversity, and unusual

of Tenerife.

| The tour starts in the very
famous village of Masca. We descend on an old
fishermen’s’ trail until we reach the
ocean. After a refreshing swim we join Pedro who
picks us up with his boat and will take us to Los
Gigantes, Translated into English as ‘The Giants’
the name seams almost an understatement when you
witness the vertical cliff (250m) |

Climbing the highest
mountain of Spain, and the 3rd highest
island volcano in the world rising 3718m / 12,198ft.
Situated in
the national park "Parque Nacional de las Cañadas
del Teide is a strenuous hike but a very rewarding adventure.
Upon reaching the summit you will achieve a 360º
view of Tenerife and neighbouring islands. We
promise this will be a day you’ll never forget. Please note: You can only do
this climb if you have a permit from the local
authorities

All our tours take up a full
day giving us plenty of time to enjoy the nature and
the views. You meet our guide and mini bus in the town
of El Medano, at 9 am. Before we start walking we
have a short stop at a Canarian bar for a coffee. The
guide will provide a picnic. You will be back in El Médano
approximately between 5 and 6:30pm, depending on the
tour you’re doing. We advise you to wear good
walking shoes and to bring protection for whatever the
weather gods have in mind (sun screen, windsheeter,
fleece, etc…) adequate water is essential, if you
require any medication please do not forget this.
